I’m a terrible, terrible person. I can’t commit to post-a-day for some reason. I’m too tired, busy, lazy, blah blah blah, insert lame excuse here.

 So, I apologise.

 However, I’m linking a delicious pull-bead recipe that I stumbleupon-ed some time ago, and will also be making it today.

 In other news, there is no news.

M.I.A.

 I realise I’ve been AWOL for the past weekend and yesterday. I’ve been quite busy with my social life (and to think I didn’t even have one).

 So, I’ve decided I’ll only be posting on weekdays.

 Although, fair warning, I will not be posting at all next week. Maybe sometimes, depending if they have wifi where I’m going for spring break.

Day 09

     My apologies for not being able to post yesterday.

     To make it up to you, I’ll be giving you a yummy pancake recipe, one that I’m making right now.

• 3/4 cup flour
• 2 1/4 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 egg
• 1 tablespoon melted butter

     Whisk all your dry ingredients together in one bowl and your wet in the other. Add all into one bowl, and beat until all the lumps are gone.

     When cooking, wait for lots of bubbles to appear on the top before flipping.

      Personally, spreading butter and peanut butter on the pancakes, then drowning in syrup is the only way for me to go when eating pancakes. If you haven’t tried it, I suggest you do it today.

Day 08

Currently listening to Broken Social Scene, ‘Far Out’

I had my Schoolcraft College orientation yesterday. Let me just say, I really hope I don’t share many classes with the idiots of my class. Not only did 90% look like they literally rolled out of bed or were thick-skulled basketball jocks, but none of them had anything intelligent to say. I’m so glad I’m the only one of that group to be taking culinary.

    Either way, back to my next cupcake project. I’ve decided on Nutella with Nutella peanut butter frosting. Sounds delicious, no? Plus, Nutella is an instant hipster hit, so that’s gotta count for something. Why are hipsters crazy about that stuff, anyway? Specifically hipsters.

Day 07

   Currently listening to Cage the Elephant, ‘Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked’ 

The Oreo cupcakes were an immediate success. Within moments of setting them out in my journalism class, they disappeared and praises were sang. My ego may have heightened momentarily. May have.

     Tomorrow I have orientation for Schoolcraft, which is the college I am attending this fall for culinary. Kind of nervous.

     Anyway, since I’m on such a cupcake kick, what should my next flavor project be? Hmm….
